Reactive and Fearful Dog Training
“Your dog is not giving you a hard time.
Your dog is HAVING a hard time.”
Does your dog bark and lunge at other dogs or people during walks? …. cower when greeting strangers? …. guard food or toys? …. fight with other dogs in your home? …. act out when left home alone? The vast majority of dogs that display any type of reactivity are experiencing some level of fear, frustration, anxiety, or stress – while others may simply be expressing instinctual behaviors. Regardless of the reason for the reactivity, we are here to help you and your dog work through these issues with virtual and/or in-person dog training sessions.
Our trainers have years of experience in working with reactive and fearful dogs. Furthermore, we strive to stay abreast of the latest in the science of reactivity and positive training techniques through continuing education courses and conferences.
Reactive and fearful dog training is perfect for dogs that:
- Bark and lunge at dogs, people or moving objects
- Bark, growl or cower when meeting strangers
- Have separation anxiety or separation-related behaviors
