Fearful, Reactive and Aggressive Dog Training

Does your dog bark and lunge at other dogs or people during walks?

…. cower when greeting strangers?

…. guard food or toys?

…. fight with other dogs in your home?

…. act out when left home alone?

The vast majority of dogs that display any type of reactivity or aggressive behavior are experiencing some level of fear, frustration, anxiety, or stress … others may simply be performing instinctual behaviors. We are here to help you and your dog work through these issues with virtual and/or in-person fearful aggressive dog training sessions.

Our trainers have years of experience in working with reactive and fearful dogs. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in the science of reactivity and aggressive dog training techniques through continuing education courses and conferences.

Every new client begins his/her journey with an initial behavior assessment and mediation session.  This session is about 90 minutes and can take place in-person or virtually.  During your assessment, we will review your behavior history form, discuss your goals, evaluate your dog’s L.E.G.S. and begin to develop a solution that will fit the needs of both you and your dog.

After the initial assessment session, clients may sign up for as many 45-minute training sessions as desired.  Every client has access to support between sessions via email, text or phone. A customized training plan is emailed after each session, along with relevant handouts and reading materials.

Discounts apply if multiple sessions are purchased together.

This type of training is perfect for:

  • Barking and lunging at dogs, people or moving objects
  • Leash reactivity/aggression
  • Stranger danger – barking, growling or cowering when meeting strangers
  • Scared or fearful behaviors when introduced to new environments
  • Separation anxiety or separation-related behaviors
  • Intra-household aggression directed at other dogs or people
